Special Issue on Friction, Wear and Lubrication
Friction, wear and lubrication between materials in contact are of fundamental importance in many pure and
applied sciences. The field is necessarily interdisciplinary and utilizes
skills from mechanical engineering, materials science and engineering, chemistry
and chemical engineering and so on. The goal of this Special Issue is to
provide a platform for scientists worldwide to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in the area of friction, wear and lubrication.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring friction, wear and lubrication. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Lubricants and lubrication
-
Chemical and physical effects
-
Designing for wear life and frictional performance
-
Testing and simulation
-
Bearing and materials
-
Nanotribology
-
Applications
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Friction,
Wear and Lubrication” should be selected during your submission.
