Special Issue on Molecular Diagnosis
Molecular
diagnostics is a collection of techniques used to analyse biological markers in the genome and proteome—the individual's genetic code and
how their cells express their genes as proteins—by applying molecular biology
to medical testing. The technique is used to diagnose and monitor disease,
detect risk, and decide which therapies will work best for individual patients.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Molecular Diagnosis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Molecular pathology
-
Pharmacogenomic techniques
-
Molecular disease
-
Molecular medicine
-
Molecular diagnostic techniques
-
Pharmacotherapy
-
Human genetics
-
Use of biomarkers to guide drug development
-
Detection, monitoring, and treatment of
molecular causes of disease
-
Emerging molecular diagnostic tools and
technologies
-
Pathogen detection and drug resistance
analysis
-
Molecular markers and genetic variation
affecting drug response, drug metabolism, adverse effects, and/or disease
progression
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Molecular
Diagnosis” should be selected during your submission.
