Special Issue on Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior as part of a systematic pattern of power and control perpetrated by one intimate partner against another. It includes physical violence, sexual violence, psychological violence, and emotional abuse. The frequency and severity of domestic violence can vary dramatically; however, the one constant component of domestic violence is one partner’s consistent efforts to maintain power and control over the other. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of domestic violence.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore domestic violence. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Forms of domestic violence
• Influences and factors
• Causes of domestic violence
• Effects of domestic violence
• Prevention of domestic violence
• Psychotherapy

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Domestic Violence” should be selected during your submission.
