Special Issue on Number Theory Research

Number theory, branch of mathematics concerned with properties of the positive integers. Sometimes called “higher arithmetic,” it is among the oldest and most natural of mathematical pursuits. Number theory has always fascinated amateurs as well as professional mathematicians. In contrast to other branches of mathematics, many of the problems and theorems of number theory can be understood by laypersons, although solutions to the problems and proofs of the theorems often require a sophisticated mathematical background. As one of most important branches in the pure mathematics, number theory research is of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore number theory research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Analytic number theory
  • Algebraic number theory
  • Additive number theory
  • Computational number theory
  • Elementary number theory
  • Multiplicative number theory
  • Applications of number theory

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Number Theory Research” should be selected during your submission.
