Special Issue on
Solid Mechanics and Its Application Research
Solid mechanics is fundamental for civil, aerospace, nuclear, and mechanical engineering, for geology, and for many branches of physics such as materials science. It has specific applications in many other areas, such as understanding the anatomy of living beings, and the design of dental prostheses and surgical implants. As one of most important branches in mechanics, solid mechanics and its application research is of great attractions to researchers.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore solid mechanics and its application research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
The micro and nanoscale behavior of advanced materials
-
The mechanical behavior of soft matter (e.g., gels, polymers)
-
The mechanics of cells and biological systems
-
Multiscale materials modeling, deformation and failure of thin films
-
The mechanics and failure behavior of batteries and energy storage systems
-
The analysis of the mechanics
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Solid Mechanics and Its Application Research” should be selected during your submission.
