Special Issue on Coastal Resources and Conservation

The coastal zone, bestowed with sufficient natural resources (both living and non-living), is a potential area for recreation and exploiting non-conventional energy resources (wave and wind energy) and a sound place for people to live along. While the changing climate, the increasing demands from human, the various pollutions, etc., all pose a threat to coastal ecosystems’ sustaining growth. The effort to conserve and restore the coastal ecosystems is urgent.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring Coastal Resources and Conservation. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Renewable and non-renewable resources
• Coastal stability
• Energy generation potential
• Impact of human activity on the coast & control measures
• Coastal management strategies
• Estuarine species
• Marine hydrokinetic energy
• Response to sea-level rise
• Offshore wind resource refinement

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
