Special Issue on
Research on Geographic Information System
Capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of spatial or geographical data, these are what Geographic Information System (GIS) is designed to do. The term, Geographic Information System, is known first to be used by Roger Tomlinson in 1968 in his paper "A Geographic Information System for Regional Planning".
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Geographic Information System. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
