Special Issue on Silica Materials

The development of porous materials with large specific surface areas is currently an area of extensive research. Silica-based materials with a porous form are recently development in nanotechnology, which have attracted more and more attention for their potential applications such as biomedicine, food technology, adsorption, chromatography, catalysis, sensor technology, gas storage and etc.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring silica materials. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Silica nanoparticles
• Silica xerogels
• Hybrid silica materials
• Mesoporous silica materials
• Synthesis of silica materials
• Functionalization of silica materials
• Applications

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
