Special Issue on Industrial Crystallization Technology

The continuous development of the chemical process industry has been accompanied by rising demands for product quality. Crystallization is one of the mass transfer operations in chemical engineering to separate crystalline solids from solutions. Industrial crystallization technology has many advantages, such as being friendly to the environment, high resource using rate and easy manipulating. It is not only widely used in basic industries such as chemical engineering, food engineering, fertilizer and pesticide, but also application in many high-tech industries, for instance electronic information, biomedicine and new energy materials.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring industrial crystallization technology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Molecular modelling
  • Polymorphism and polymorph prediction
  • Melt crystallization equipment
  • Eutectic freezing crystallization
  • Crystallization design and control
  • Crystallization analysis
  • Computational fluid dynamics
  • Crystalline mechanism
  • Applications

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Industrial Crystallization Technology” should be selected during your submission.
