Special
Issue on Pathogenic Bacteria
Pathogenic
Bacteria are bacteria that can cause infection. Although most bacteria are harmless or
often beneficial, several are pathogenic. One of the bacterial diseases with
the highest disease burden is tuberculosis, caused by the bacterium
Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which kills about 2 million people a year.
Pathogenic bacteria contribute to other globally important diseases, such as
pneumonia, which can be caused by bacteria such as Streptococcus and
Pseudomonas. Pathogenic Bacteria also cause infections such as tetanus, typhoid fever, diphtheria and leprosy.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers
and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring pathogenic bacteria. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Pathogenic bacteria
-
Materials of construction
-
Diseases
-
Mechanisms
-
Treatment
-
Pathogenic viruses
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an
electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript
title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Pathogenic Bacteria” should be
chosen during your submission.
