Special Issue on Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Women

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) have a significant probability of transmission between humans by means of sexual behavior. There are nine STDs that infect a significant proportion of women worldwide, including diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, and parasites. The prevalence of a particular sexually transmitted disease in women depends on the living country and other factors. All female STDs can infect men, but some diseases infect women more often than men.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on sexually transmitted diseases in women. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Sexually transmitted diseases prevention
• Sexually transmitted diseases causes
• Sexually transmitted diseases symptoms and signs
• Sexually transmitted diseases diagnosis
• Sexually transmitted diseases medical treatment
• Sexually transmitted diseases follow-ups
• Sexually transmitted diseases prognosis

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Women” should be chosen during your submission.
