Special Issue on Cardiac Arrest and Sudden Cardiac Death

Cardiac Arrest is a sudden stop in effective blood circulation due to failure of the heart to contract effectively or at all. Cardiac arrest is a medical emergency that, in certain situations, is potentially reversible if treated early. Unexpected cardiac arrest can lead to death within minutes: this is called sudden cardiac death (SCD).

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac death. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Signs and symptoms of cardiac arrest
• Causes of cardiac arrest and sudden death
• CPR and defibrillation
• Medications
• Epidemiology
• Prevention of cardiac arrest and sudden death

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Cardiac Arrest and Sudden Cardiac Death” should be chosen during your submission.
