Special Issue on Burns and Scalds

Burns and scalds are among the most common causes of serious injury among children. A burn is a type of injury to skin or flesh caused by heat, electricity, chemicals, friction, or radiation while a scald is caused by something wet, such as hot water or steam. As one of the most important research fields of health and disease, burns and scalds are of great attractions to researchers.

    •       Signs and symptoms
    •       Pathophysiology of burns and scalds
    •       Prevention of burns and scalds
