Special Issue on Plant Defense
This special issue on “Plant Defense” will be focusing on the latest development in plant
sciences and technology. Plants do not have immune system like animals,but plants have kinds of defenses to detect herbivores and
pathogens and stop them before they cause damage. Plant defense which consists
of constitutive defense and induced defense can help plants improve their
survival and reproduction. The goal of this special issue is to provide a
platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share,
and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of plant defense.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on
exploring plant defense. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:

Plant defense against herbivory

Plant tolerance to herbivory

Plant use of endophytic fungi in defense

Plant disease resistance
-
Evolution of defensive traits
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
