Special Issue on Valvular Heart Disease
Valvular Heart Disease is any disease process involving one or more of the four valves of the heart (the aortic and mitral valves on the left and the pulmonary and tricuspid valves on the right). Valve problems may be congenital (inborn) or acquired (due to another cause later in life). Treatment may be with medication but often involves valve repair or replacement. As one of the most important research fields of medical research, valvular heart disease is of great attractions to researchers.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring valvular heart disease. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Types of valvular heart disease
-
Main causes and risk factors
-
Pathology and physiology research
-
Symptoms of valvular heart disease
-
Medical signs and diagnosis
-
Treatment and follow-up
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Valvular Heart Disease” should be chosen during your submission.
