Special Issue on Water Treatment Technology Research

Water treatment describes those industrial-scale processes used to make water more acceptable for a desired end-use. These can include use for drinking water, industry, medical and many other uses. Such processes may be contrasted with small-scale water sterilization practiced by campers and other people in wilderness areas. The goal of all water treatment process is to remove existing contaminants in the water, or reduce the concentration of such contaminants so the water becomes fit for its desired end-use. One such use is returning water that has been used back into the natural environment without adverse ecological impact. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of water treatment technology research.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore water treatment technology research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Wastewater treatment
• NF membranes in water technology
• Reverse osmosis water treatment technology
• Membranes technology for sea water desalination
• Circulating water system
• Sea water desalination
• Industrial softened water
• Ultra-Thin membranes for water purification
• Potable water purification
• Sewage treatment
• Industrial water treatment
• Agricultural wastewater treatment

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
