Special Issue on Leaf
This special issue on “Leaf” will be focusing on the latest development in plant sciences
and technology. A leaf is a vegetative organ of a vascular plant. Leaves
contain chloroplasts inside, and they are the main places of plant photosynthesis.
Meanwhile, the transpiration of plants is achieved through the stomata of
leaves. A complete dicotyledon leaf consists of three parts:the blade, the petiole and the leaf base. The leaf may be
a single blade, separate leaflets, or reduced to a spine or scale. The margin
may be smooth or jagged. As one of the most important research fields of plant,
the leaf is of great attractions to
researchers.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on
exploring leaf. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Leaf development
-
General characteristics of leaves
-
Features
-
Anatomy
-
Seasonal leaf loss
-
Morphology
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue -Leaf” should be chosen during your submission.
