Special Issue on Biochemical Study on DNA

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), which is composed of nitrogen-containing nucleobase, deoxyribose and phosphate group can encode genetic instructions of living organisms and many viruses. DNA is a long polymer made from repeating units called nucleotides which use phosphodiester bonds and hydrogen bonds for assembly. As DNA plays an extremely important role in all kinds of organisms, biochemical study on DNA seems to be necessary and significant.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring biochemical study on DNA. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Major properties of DNA
    • DNA sequencing
    • DNA packaging
    • DNA-modifying
    • Biological functions (replication, transcription, etc.)
    • DNA mutation
    • DNA repair
    • DNA chemistry
    • DNA nanotechnology

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Biochemical Study on DNA” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    October 23rd, 2014

    Publication Date

    December 2014
