Special Issue on Medical Education and Health Education

Students of medicine, public health, nursing, and the biomedical sciences come to medical schools from all around the world. They learn medical education and health education in schools and institutes prepare to become nurses or medical practitioner in academic medicine and health care and innovators in clinical practice, biotechnology, and public policy. Health education plays a crucial role in the development of a healthy, inclusive, and equitable social, psychological, and physical environment, thereby enhancing its profile in the global medical and healthcare education community.

In this special issue, we are going to invite front-line researchers and authors to contribute original research and review articles on medical education and health education. The topics to be covered by this special issue include, but are not limited to:

• Basic science education and clinical science education
• Residency education and continuing medical education
• Learning theory and curriculum development
• Problem-based learning (PBL)
• Social media in personal/community health education
• Measurement and evaluation
• Faculty development
• Career choice, professional education and development

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
