Abstract :

By 2030, the global energy demand will grow about 40%. Rather a lot, don’t you think? First, the bad news: This is a risk for the global climate; Human being has to deal with the toughest challenges. Now the good news: a general consensus about the Energy saving & Environmental Protection lies embedded in the mind of both public and private sectors. Siemens, as one of the world’s largest electrical and electronics companies, have considered the impact of our business on the environment, and developed the applications of environmentally-friendly products and solutions. The key is using the possibilities of innovation and technology. The four Energy Saving Business Models cooperated with Siemens High-tech, make it possible to handle energy more efficiently: More efficient in generation, transmission and distribution, and also the usage of energy in industrial and building applications.

Biography :

Mr. Zhan Jingtao was born in Shandong on Oct 20, 1969. On leaving high school, he studied Power System and Automation at Southeast University and Enterprise Management at Wuhan University of Technology. He completed his studies with a Bachelor degree of Engineering and a Master degree of Management

In December 2001 Mr. Zhan Jingtao joined the Automation & Drive Group of Siemens Ltd., China .Until 2007 he worked in the Region North of Siemens Automation & Drive Group. From 2001 to 2007, he was the senior sales manager in Region North. He was responsible for the Sinopec, CNPC, CNOOC and chemical key account business.

On April 1, 2007, Mr. Zhan Jingtao assumed his current position as Director of Energy Saving Center of Siemens Ltd., China He is responsible for the business development of energy saving in China. He is good at the research of energy performance contract and experienced in the implementation of different business models of energy saving projects. He has published numerous energy saving articles for different magazines.

Before Jointed Siemens, Mr. Zhan Jingtao was a consultant in SINOPEC for 9 years.
