Special Issue on Social and Personality Psychology


Personality is defined as the characteristic set of behaviors, cognitions, and emotional patterns that evolve from biological and environmental factors. Most theories focus on motivation and psychological interactions with one's environment. The study of the psychology of personality, attempts to explain the tendencies that underlie differences in behavior. Social and personality psychology includes the study of human groups and interaction, the development and analysis of personality, the experience and interpretation of emotion, and motivation.


In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Social and Personality Psychology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Personality and cognitive ability
  • Social-cognitive theory
  • Personality disorders
  • Behavioral patterns
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapies

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
