Special Issue on Social Psychology

Social psychology is the scientific study of individual behavior in a social context and seeks to understand the nature and causes of individual behavior in social situations. The way we perceive ourselves in relation to the rest of the world influences our behaviors and our beliefs. The opinions of others also affect our behavior and how we view ourselves. Social psychology is to deal with the way how our feelings, thoughts, beliefs, intentions and goals are constructed and how such psychological factors, in turn, influence our interactions with others.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Social Psychology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Group behavior
  • Interpersonal processes
  • Intergroup relations
  • Leadership studies
  • Peace and conflict resolution
  • Prejudice and discrimination
  • Prosocial behavior
  • Self and social identity
  • Social cognition
  • Social influence

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
