Special Issue on Infertility & Reproductive Medicine
Infertility
& Reproductive Medicine is a specialized branch of medicine that focuses on
diagnosing and treating infertility and other reproductive disorders in both
men and women. It encompasses a wide range of topics, including the
physiological processes of ovulation, fertilization, and implantation, as well
as the underlying genetic, hormonal, or anatomical causes of infertility. This
field employs various advanced techniques, such as in vitro fertilization
(IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and reproductive surgery, to assist
individuals and couples in achieving pregnancy. Through a combination of
research, clinical practice, and technological innovation, reproductive
medicine aims to offer hope and solutions to those facing challenges in
conceiving.
