Special Issue on Forest Pest Control
When forest pest population is in relative balance with other biological
population, including natural enemy insects, it can not cause disaster.
However, once the population of other organisms decreases, this balance is
destroyed. The number of pests will increase rapidly, resulting in rampant
disaster. Forest pests kill more trees every year than forest fires. How to
prevent and control the harm of forest pests scientifically is still a hot spot
in the field of forest science.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring forest pest control.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Forest entomology
-
Forest quarantine
-
Silviculture
technique
-
