Special Issue on Drug Resistance
Drug Resistance is
the reduction in effectiveness of a drug. When an organism is resistant to more
than one drug, it is said to be multidrug-resistant. According to WHO report “Antimicrobial
resistance: global report on surveillance 2014”, a post-antibiotic era – in
which common infections and minor injuries can kill – far from being an
apocalyptic fantasy, is instead a very real possibility for the 21st Century.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring drug resistance. Potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Antimicrobial
resistance
-
Antineoplastic resistance
-
Multidrug-resistant
-
Reduced Drug accumulation
-
Mechanisms of Drug
resistance
-
Solution of Drug
