Special Issue on Developmental Pediatrics
Developmental pediatrics is an academic discipline that focuses on the
evaluation, diagnosis, and management of children with developmental delays and
disabilities. It involves the study of typical and atypical child development,
identifying developmental milestones, and addressing challenges through early
intervention and therapeutic interventions. Developmental pediatricians
collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum
disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), developmental
delays, and intellectual disabilities, aiming to optimize their long-term
outcomes and quality of life.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Developmental Pediatrics. Potential topics include, but are not limited
