Special Issue on Software and Security Engineering

"Software and Security Engineering" is an interdisciplinary academic field focusing on the development of software systems that are secure, reliable, and resistant to attacks. It combines principles from computer science, software engineering, and cybersecurity to address the challenges of designing, implementing, and maintaining software that protect information and systems from malicious actors. This field covers a wide range of topics, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, cryptography, access control mechanisms, intrusion detection systems, and security protocols. It emphasizes the importance of incorporating security considerations throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and maintenance. The ultimate goal is to ensure that software systems are not only functional and efficient but also safeguarded against the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Software and Security Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
