Special Issue on Solar Energy and Its Applications
Solar
energy, radiation from the Sun capable of producing heat, causing chemical
reactions, or generating electricity. The total amount of solar energy incident
on Earth is vastly in excess of the world’s current and anticipated energy
requirements. If suitably harnessed, this highly diffused source has the
potential to satisfy all future energy needs. In the 21st century solar energy
is expected to become increasingly attractive as a renewable energy source
because of its inexhaustible supply and its nonpolluting character, in stark
contrast to the finite fossil fuels coal, petroleum, and natural gas. The
goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and
academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new
issues and developments in the area of solar energy and its applications.
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring solar energy
and its applications. In this special issue,
potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Solar
energy measurement
-
Solar
energy policy
-
Solar
energy utilisation
-
Energy
storage methods
-
Thermal
energy
-
Development,
deployment and economics
-
Solar heating
of buildings
-
Solar
energy applications
Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue - Solar Energy and Its Applications” should be chosen
during your submission.
