Special Issue on Clean Energy
While
impressive progress has been made in developing clean energy technologies in
recent years, the success stories are overshadowed by surging demand for fossil
fuels, which are outstripping deployment of clean energy technologies. Coal has
met 47% of the global new electricity demand since the turn of the century,
eclipsing clean energy efforts made over the same period of time, which include
improved implementation of energy efficiency measures and rapid growth in the use
of renewable energy sources. The goal of this special issue is to provide
a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote,
share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of clean energy.
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring clean energy. In this special issue,
potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Ocean
energy
-
Solar
energy
-
Wind

-
Hydrogen

Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that
the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Clean Energy” should be chosen during your submission.
