Special Issue on Social Media, Communication and Technology in Nursing
Modern communication methods are drastically changing
the way people interact with each other. Professions such as nursing need to
evolve to remain relevant as social infrastructure changes. social media (SM),
Internet and mobile-based tools for distributing and sharing information,
should be used for communication between healthcare providers (HCPs) and
patients, since SM has the potential to educate, engage, and empower patients
as well as HCPs. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform
for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and
discuss various new issues and developments in this area of Social Media, Communication and Technology
in Nursing.
In this special issue, we invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
