Special Issue on LGBT Community and Psychology
People who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender are diverse, coming
from various races, ethnicities, and socioeconomic statuses. They are a
population in need of understanding and support. Regarding the mental and
physical well-being, they sometimes face unique issues besides the usual ones
that affect most men and women. They are at high rates of attempted and
completed suicide, violence victimization, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy,
and HIV/STI-associated risky behaviors.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring LGBT community and psychology.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

self-identity

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.

under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – LGBT Community and
Psychology” should be chosen during your submission.
