Special Issue on Chemical Structure Analysis
A chemical
structure determination includes a chemist's specifying the molecular geometry
and, when feasible and necessary, the electronic structure of the target
molecule or other solid. The methods by which one can elucidate the structure
of a molecule include spectroscopies such as nuclear magnetic resonance (proton
and carbon-13 NMR), various methods of mass spectrometry (to give overall
molecular mass, as well as fragment masses), and x-ray crystallography when
applicable.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Chemical Structure Analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Molecular geometry
-
Molecular structure and behavior
-
Molecular spectroscopy and molecular
structure
-
Theoretical investigations of molecular
structures
-
Vibrational spectroscopy of molecular
crystals
-
Chemical bonding analysis
-
Instruments of chemical structure analysis
-
Computational chemistry methods
-
Techniques of chemical structure analysis
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Chemical
Structure Analysis” should be selected during your submission.
