Special Issue on Prevention of Injury and Violence
The
academic topic of "Prevention of Injury and Violence" focuses on
understanding, researching, and implementing strategies to reduce the
occurrence and impact of injuries and violence in various settings, including
public health, medicine, sociology, criminology, and psychology. This
multidisciplinary field aims to identify risk factors, develop evidence-based
interventions, and promote policies that can effectively prevent injuries and
violence at individual, community, and societal levels. It encompasses a wide
range of topics, such as child abuse, domestic violence, self-harm, traffic
accidents, workplace safety, sexual assault, firearm-related injuries, and
community violence.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Prevention of Injury and Violence. Potential topics include, but are not limited
