Dr. Luo Chao obtained his Bachelor's degree in Geology from China University of Petroleum (East China), followed by a Master's degree in Geological Engineering from China University of Petroleum (Beijing). He further pursued his doctorate in Oil-gas Field Development Engineering at PetroChina Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development. In 2016, he joined Chongqing University of Science and Technology, where he currently serves as the deputy director and an Associate Professor of Institute of Petroleum Geology.
