Abstract: The major of information security is a new emerging professional science, which is mainly to turn outprofessionals who are engaged in protective work on information security. Currently, the major of Information securityhas been set up in more than 70 institutes of higher learning all over the country. Guangzhou University is one of theuniversities which set up this major early. According to the current situation and existing problems of informationsecurity teaching, Guangzhou University explore the practice teaching system of information security and has got greatachievement. In this paper, we introduced the structure of the practice teaching system of information security inGuangzhou University. The practice teaching system includes the continuity of practice, the diversity of unscheduledteaching, the fixity of practice base and the novelty of the thesis or designing for graduation .We have the reason tobelieve the paper has some directive significance for the practice teaching of this field.
