Abstract: The security of data has become a popular topic in computer science，however,encrypted data is theonly way to solve. Applying various kind of encrypted algorithms into program is very important. One of thesimply and security algorithms is the RC4, it was created by Ronald Rivest of RSA Security in 1987. It is oneof the most widely-used software stream cipher and is used in popular protocols such as Secure Sockets Layer(SSL) (to protect Internet traffic) and WEP (to secure wireless networks). RC4 is used in many commercialsoftware packages such as Lotus Notes and Oracle Secure SQL. This paper mainly introduces the applicationof c # RC4 encryption method on the server side
