Abstract: With the fast development of information technology, the nationals’ information security and keepingsecrets qualities have become one of the important hidden dangers for the state security and the state every walk oflife interests. On the basis of the survey of current students’ keeping information secrets qualities and theircharacters, the heuristic teaching method based on the facts is designed. In the method the teaching cases arechosen from those typical cases from routine work or life which they often have huge danger and have profoundeducation importance. Since the cases are often the facts, they have inherent persuasiveness and easily arousestudents’ sympathy and thought. And the heuristic teaching method can further guide students to thoroughlyanalyze harm and cause of the divulging -secrets cases. So the students’ enthusiasms for studying specialknowledge are evoked. From teaching effect survey, the method is vivid, persuasive, interesting. It can excellentlyimprove the security consciousness and capability of students, and the expectant teaching purpose is achieved.
