Abstract: The whole mobile satellite communications system is introduced in details, and it is divided into five parts; they are antenna system, communication system, tracing, testing and instruction system, control system and power source system. Moreover, the development tendency of mobile satellite communication system is introduced. Two link design methods are introduced, and link equation method is used for the design of satellite communication link. Furthermore, the feature of satellite channels is introduced. The satellite channels are simulated and analyzed.
