Abstract: In the present there is vehicles growing rapidly and traffic congestion at most city, so we designed the application of PLC in fuzzy intelligent transportation control system. Used electromagnetic induction to detect vehicles in this system, the high speed counter carries on with PLC counted the vehicles, and utilized the intelligent control principle. So PLC will be able to automatically adjust the length of time for traffic lights based on the flow according to fuzzy control, the system enhances the efficiency of traffic control, alleviates traffic congestion, and achieves optimal control. After experimenting the method at some cross-traffic intersection of the city, all the results show that the method can largely solve the traffic problems of city vehicles which are a new type of intelligent design method, with the value of popularization and application.
