Abstract: The present status of digital watermark technology and its fundamental principle are being summarized in this paper, the principle and steps for DCT watermarking embedding and extracting algorithms are elaborated, and a kind of DCT watermark embedding and extracting scheme is also proposed in this paper. At last, simulations are performed based on matlab, and simulation results show that the proposed scheme is well robust against common image processing operations such as JPEG compression, filtering, Gaussian noise pollution and cropping.
