Abstract: A design method of 1000 frames per second CCD video processing is presented. It was used in the high sensitivity Electron Multiplication gain CCD (EMCCD) camera design. Using a CPLD to produce high precision sample clock, high accurate CCD video voltage sample with CDS technology was achieved. Adopting a chip VSP2000 with CDS function, sample and digitize of CCD outputs was achieved. The 1000fps high speed digital image data with 10bit per pixel was collected by USB2.0 technology. This method was flexible and could be used in another design of CCD video processing.
