Abstract: The research progress of Fe3Si intermetallics is reviewed. The basic properties of Fe3Si are analyzed and discussed in detail, such as the basic structure characterisitics, magnetic property, selective site substitution of transition metal elements, phase transition, diffusion mechanism, environmental embrittlement and fracture mechanism, high temperature creep and electronic structure properties and so on. Finally the main problems of studies for intermetallic compounds Fe3Si are given at present.
