Abstract: Electrochemical cells using solid electrolytes have several advantages including: simple structure,fast response, wide measuring range, reliable, convenient, especially, the research focused on zirconia-based NOx sensor. This paper introduces the working principle of zirconia-based NOx sensors and failure mechanism, and points out the future direction of the research.
