Abstract: A novel organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposite was prepared from 1-(4-bromostyryl)-4- nitrobenzene and Octavinyloctasilasesquioxane (Vinyl-POSS) by Pd (PPh3)2Cl2-catalyzed Heck coupling reaction. The structure and properties were characterized and evaluated by FTIR, 1H NMR, UV-vis, GPC, and TGA.
