Abstract: Expandable polystyrene with two kinds of densities and expandable polyethylene foam plates were kept warm for 12 hours under four kinds of different temperatures, such as -10oC, 10oC, 30oC and 50oC. The static compression experiments of foam plates were carried out. Stress - strain curve of foam plates were measured, and then cushioning coefficient under different conditions were computed. The results showed that cushioning properties of these three kinds of foam plates are similar with the increasing of the temperature under the same compression speed, and the minimum of cushioning coefficient increases with the increasing of the temperature.
