Abstract: The main factors influencing the gloss of aluminum powder was studied to solve the problem of low gloss. Orthogonal experiment was applied to choose five surfactants such as Polychylene glycol, Tween- 80, Polyvinyl alcohol, Oleic acid and Sodium stearate to coat the surface of the aluminum powder. The coated aluminum powder was studied with six factors and five levels orthogonal experiment to find the main factors influencing the gloss of aluminum paste printing ink. The optimal formula was provided.
