Abstract: Plant maintenance scheduling which is an important part of plant management, directly relates to the power supply system and the interests of users, and has a very great influence on the reliability and economy of the power supply system. Therefore, it is of great significance to make detailed and exhaustive plant maintenance work scheduling. Combined with the actual conditions of power supply enterprise, this paper constructs a reasonable model of plant maintenance scheduling to achieve the goal of reducing the blackout loss and maintenance expense. According to the similar characteristics of power supply plant and generator unit, this paper solves the problem of power supply plant maintenance scheduling optimization by HGSA algorithm, and makes the algorithm better according to actual situation. Applying the improved HGSA algorithm to the plant maintenance plan of selected power supply enterprise reduces the blackout loss and maintenance expense, and validates the feasibility and efficiency of the improved algorithm.
