Abstract: Compared with Universal Mobile Telecommunications System, Long Term Evolution provides new security framework. In order to better avoid the attacker to steal security information through false and resend information on the air interface, analysis of Key hierarchy and the overall structure of security function in LTE system, On the basis of research on security mode command in access stratum, discussion of the two programs in the key generation in handover. Finally, proposed implementation program of encryption and integrity protection in LTE access stratum, through simulation by core Advanced Encryption Standard algorithm, verified the function of encryption and integrity protection. Through theoretical study and simulation results show that, the LTE new security mechanisms will provide more reliable security guarantees to packet data service. As the work of the 3GPP LTE System Architecture Evolution R9 version completed, security mechanisms will be improved and strengthened, these will provide a more secure network services to the future development of mobile communications.
