Abstract: The presence of sensor gain/phase and mutual coupling errors severely degrades the performance of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation. This paper proposes a method for calibrate the errors by setting linear constraints to pre-constraint the calibration matrix. The constraint condition can avoids useless estimation process effectively, also don’t need known accurate locations of aided signals. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.
