Abstract: A design of oilfield gathering station computer monitoring system is proposed, the design based on Siemens S7-200 PLC and Advantech's intelligent module. Combined with process of gathering station, hardware selection and composition principle of computer monitoring system is introduced. The system hardware is made by ADAM5000/485 distributed module and Siemens S7-200 series PLC CPU224 XP CN modules. At last, this discussion is emphasized on hardware design and software design of Gathering Station computer monitor system. By practical operation, the monitor system can fit in with the bad environment of field with high reliability.
